'16th Century Tube Passengers'
As a London advertising creative, I decided to do photography project turning my daily 35-minute London commute into work, into something more beautiful. Capturing everyday London Tube passengers in the style of 16th century renaissance portraits.
Using nothing but my iPhone and the tube platform Wi-Fi, I shot, retouched, posted these images to social media and to a book , all from each underground journey to the world above. The whole project was done on the London Underground. Capturing the timeless, wistful beauty of London commuters.
'16th Century Tube Passengers' was awarded 'Finalist' in the 2017 LensCulture Street Photography Awards, and exhibited at the SF Camerawork Gallery in San Francisco.
The project has been reviewed in numerous titles such as, The Telegraph Newspaper, boredpanda.com, Newsweek, Huffington Post, Mashable, lost at e-minor, Lensculture and published in a 6-page article in the Italian photography magazine `Gente Di Fotographia Magazine.
